Marie Olson Weir is an actively performing San Diego native & UC Santa Barbara Vocal Performance graduate.
Aa a very proud mother of three, when you come to Ms. Marie, you become part of her family!
To that end, Marie has worked with area churches & schools developing children’s theater programs, teaching classroom music, directing thousands of youth in large & small scale productions while passionately developing the next generation of Broadway, Hollywood & regional theater stars, as well as community youth & adult church musicians & worship leaders.
For over thirty years, her philosophy that “every person has a voice waiting to make a joyful sound” has been proven time and again. She helps students build confidence through the development a solid vocal foundation that includes: proper warm up techniques, attention to posture, breathing, ear training & sight reading. While accessing their full vocal range through exceptional vocal pedagogy technique, each student discovers their true voice.
Song selection, performance & audition prep are woven throughout Marie’s exceptional tutelage in all genres of music: Musical Theater, Classical, Pop, Christian, Sacred, Jazz, Gospel, and more.
